Tremella Syrup Recipe with Snow Pear and Red-Skinned Peanuts

Ingredients for Tremella Syrup: Half a snow pear, 3 grams of tremella, 20 grams of red-skinned peanuts, 10 grams of lily bulbs, 150 grams of iron stick yam, 3 red dates, rock sugar to taste, 800ml of water.
Step 1: Selection of Ingredients – Listen to me on this, soak the lily bulbs and red-skinned peanuts for 3 hours in advance. You can purchase dried lily bulbs from a nearby traditional Chinese medicine shop, and remember to choose red-skinned peanuts.

Step 2: For ease of blending later, cut the red dates into small pieces and dice the snow pear. This will save time and result in a smoother texture.

Step 3: The energy-rich iron stick yam should be peeled and cut into sections, then combined with lily bulbs, peanuts, tremella, snow pear, and red dates – all the ingredients are now ready.

Step 4: I made a larger batch this time, adding 800ml of water to the mix, which is enough for two or three people. If you prefer a sweeter taste, add rock sugar to enhance the flavor significantly.

Step 5: Using a soy milk mode, blend and heat the mixture simultaneously. Enjoying a cup in the morning will leave your stomach feeling warm and cozy.

Step 6: Compared to soy milk, today’s tremella syrup is much thicker and smoother, providing a sensation of moistening the entire throat. The taste of rock sugar is not overly sweet but a light, refreshing sweetness, making it very pleasant to drink.
