Sesame Crispy Biscuit Recipe

Ingredients for Sesame Crispy Biscuits: Butter 70g, Salt 3/4 teaspoon, Black pepper to taste, Cake flour 100g, White sesame seeds 25g, Black sesame seeds 25g, Egg 1.
Method: Step 1: Dry-fry black and white sesame seeds in a pan over low heat to release their aroma.

Step 2: After butter is softened, whip it using an electric mixer.

Step 3: Add beaten egg liquid in 3 portions, blending well with the mixer each time.

Step 4: This is the final state of butter and egg liquid mixture. If the room temperature is low and causes oil-water separation during mixing, place a small pot with hot water at the bottom of the mixing bowl to improve the situation.

Step 5: Add 3/4 teaspoon salt and mix evenly.

Step 6: Add black pepper, it is recommended to use a grinder for a more fragrant flavor.

Step 7: Incorporate 100g of cake flour and mix well with a spatula.

Step 8: Add the fried black and white sesame seeds.

Step 9: Place the biscuit dough on plastic wrap, cover with another layer of plastic wrap, and roll out evenly with a rolling pin. Chill for 30 minutes, then cut into equal pieces.

Step 10: Place the biscuits on a non-stick baking tray.

Step 11: Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.

Cooking Tips: If you prefer a sweet taste, you can replace the salt with 20-30g of sugar, following the same method.
