Ingredients for Cherry Blossom Cookies:
Butter 120g, Icing Sugar 50g, Egg Yolks 2, Cake Flour 190g, Purple Sweet Potato Powder 10g, Colored Gummy Candies as needed.
Method for making Cherry Blossom Cookies:
Step 1: After softening the butter, mix in icing sugar thoroughly.
Step 2: Add egg yolks.
Step 3: Mix well.
Step 4: Sift in cake flour and purple sweet potato powder to form a dough, then let it rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Step 5: After taking out from the refrigerator, shape 1g small rounds.
Step 6: Place five small rounds together and press a mark in the middle with a toothpick.
Step 7: Use a toothpick to make impressions on the edges to resemble a flower.
Step 8: Optionally place something in the middle, such as dried fruits or candies; I used colored gummy candies. Bake at 160 degrees for about 17 minutes.
Step 9: The finished product.
Step 10: The finished cherry blossom cookies.
